Eligibility:
All personnel of the E-Da Healthcare Group as well as students of the School of Medicine and School of Medicine for International Students of I-Shou University are invited to submit their written work.
Specifications:

The essay should focus on issues about medical ethics. The content can be a reflection on relevant movies/books, or an elaboration of the writer’s personal experience of clinical services.

Word count limit is 1200, excluding references and title.

Times New Roman 12 point font is recommended.

Evaluation criteria:
Ability to express concepts in words (30%); presentation of arguments and perspectives (30%); structure of articles (20%); inspiration from the article (20%)
Announcement of Award Winners:
The list of award winners will be announced on the website of E-Da Healthcare Group Medical Library (http://exdep.edah.org.tw/lib/index.php/zh-tw/) on December 31, 2020, and the prize winners will also be notified individually via e-mails.
Awards: (The winners will receive the prize money in the form of a bank transfer)

First Prize: A certificate and a merit-based scholarship of NT$ 6,000.

Second Prize: A certificate and a merit-based scholarship of NT$ 4,000.

Third Prize: A certificate and a merit-based scholarship of NT$ 2,000.

Honorable Mention: three in total, a certificate and a merit-based scholarship of NT$ 1,000.

Early Bird Award: The first 30 submissions that meet the basic format requirements will receive a NT$ 200 FamilyMart gift card except those who has been awarded the above-mentioned prizes.

The copyright of the award-winning works belongs to the "E-Da Medical Consortium" that allows the organizer to share the article on the Internet.

The content of an article submitted shall not plagiarize others’ works. Upon verification of plagiarism, which is a violation of academic integrity, the organizer may withdraw any prize awarded.
